Promised quickly after the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the new gen versions of the game should finally see the light of day in early 2022. CD Projekt Red clarified that last year after the release of a calendar with ambitious updates to significantly improve the gaming experience. And if many of us are waiting for this new iteration to give the title a second chance, maybe it will come to us very soon.
When it launched in late 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 made headlines. The most anticipated game of the time had in fact largely disappointed gamers, with the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions particularly falling short and even being unplayable for some users. Since then, the Polish studio has released numerous patches and continues to work hard to deliver the new generation patches that PS5 and Xbox series owners demand.
The wait could end soon, however, as a game update on Steam suggests. The PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 has indeed moved to a new version after months of stagnation, while version 1.5 is still promised for the first quarter of the year. In addition, various rumors have been circulating in recent weeks about the arrival of these versions, as well as a major patch offering New Game + in particular.
At the same time, CD Projekt Red must also upload new content for the track. Major expansions have been expected since last year, and while patching work has been the studio’s top priority, it could be coming soon.
In any case, Cyberpunk 2077 will be discussed shortly. Will we finally be able to enjoy Night City in peace and discover the game better? It is to be hoped! are you giving him that second chance?
