The year started off in the best of ways, great games and great experiences didn’t give us time to realize what’s to come. Now, with Hogwarts Legacy on everyone’s lips, and after a successful release full of sales and many players giving high marks, the question is whether there will be any DLC that will broaden the experience to keep playing.
During an interview at IGN Fan Partygame director Alan Tew commented on various details of the game’s development, focusing on the importance of the game’s release and maintenance. In the interview, he comments on how the team is still troubleshooting and concerned, as well as excited, by the overwhelming reception of Hogwarts Legacy in the community.
There is no DLC planned for Hogwarts Legacy at this time.
Another issue that focused on clarifying is the possible DLC or updates that would come to the game at some point; this, according to the director, is not in Avalanche Software’s plans to develop it.
We have been focused on completing Hogwarts Legacy, so there are no plans for DLC at this time.
So, at the moment, the only thing we can expect after a few weeks of its release is not DLC content, but support for it. This says a lot about the quality of the game and the good reception from users, despite the external reviews that surrounded its launch, all that can be said for now are good reviews.
As we know, it has been one of the biggest releases in recent years, leaving aside sagas like FIFA or Call of Duty. It even nearly surpassed Red Dead Redemption 2 along the way and left several positive sales marks in recent days.
