Games developed by Xbox companies continue to break records.
Thanks to Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft’s experience in service titles, many of the brand’s biggest franchises continue to grow.
Just this week we announced a major new player coming to Forza Horizon 5 and now Xbox influencer Klobrille created a little chart showing the total player count for some of Microsoft’s biggest franchises.
These are the latest official figures for each franchise, so it’s safe to say the stats are impressive. It’s especially striking that the series Overwatch has been played by over 100 million players over the years.
Here are the games for which the number of new players has been updated:
- Fallout 76 – 20 million players
- Forza Horizon 5 – 40 million players
- Grounded: 20 million players
- Microsoft Flight Simulator – 15 million players
- Overwatch (franchise) – 100 million players
- Sea Of Thieves – 40 million players
- Starfield – 14 million players
Of course, not all of the major Xbox franchises appear on this list: games like Gears 5 are missing, and we’re guessing this one has very high numbers considering its age and the fact that it’s on Xbox Game Pass Core. These are in any case the official figures published by Xbox studios.
As Microsoft continues to bring some of its biggest titles to other platforms, we can expect these numbers to continue to grow in the years to come.
