We’re only two days away from the launch of Forza Horizon 5, one of the clearest contenders for GOTY of 2021. The game can now be played by anyone who has gained Early Access, and the success is such that ‘There are already over 700,000 players racing their cars across Mexico.
Mexico is precisely the main protagonist of the game, and it’s probably the best scenario for a Forza Horizon to date. The Bit Analyst made a comparison video between the real Mexico and what appears in Forza Horizon 5. The result is, quite simply, amazing.

The work that Playground Games did to locate the game in Mexico took hundreds of hours of work and photographic work, but the result is hugely worth it. There are areas like the Cabo San Lucas Arc or Uxmal which are traces of reality, with a photorealistic finish that we haven’t been able to see so far on our Xbox Series X.
