Possible solutions to an error preventing installing games on the Xbox
There is currently no official solution from Microsoft. The official Twitter account celebrates that the service has been restored in the last 15 minutes. But like I said, you can still be affected when all this happens. I'm having trouble downloading Sea of Thieves.
If you continue with this error when installing games on Xbox One, follow these steps.
- Leave the power button pressed until the console closes. This should clear the cache and enable you to login from scratch again. You didn't lose anything you had in the console.
- If this doesn't work, delete the console profile and reload it. Note, there is an option to delete a profile that removes all content, excluding it.
- If none of this works, try disconnecting your router for a minute to force it to take a new IP.
