The cover for games of the Nintendo Switch 2 will be red instead of the previous transparent look. Compared to the game envelopes of the Nintendo Switch, the dimensions are identical to the successor, as Genki_jpn points to X.

The same applies to the cartridge. Instead of the previous black, the game cards are now red. From the dimensions, they are identical to the predecessor. This also ensures downward compatibility, since the Switch 1 games also fit into the slot of the Nintendo Switch 2.
