A massive new online game is coming to consoles and PC with support from Amazon Games
Amazon and NCSoft Games announced that throne and freedom, an online multiplayer role-playing game title, will be coming to Europe after securing a distribution deal. This way the game will be released in North America, South America, Europe and Japan in 2023 thanks to Amazon Games.
Throne and Liberty will have cross-play between PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC according to the study. On the other hand, Christoph Hartmann, The vice president of Amazon Games, communicated that the publication of games that develop as a service and are developed with live multiplayer is a fundamental element for the company. Some examples of this are Lost Ark or New World. Likewise, he expects Throne and Liberty to have a great career and be appreciated by the public, since behind it is a veteran of the genre like NCSoft (Guild Wars).
In the same way, Moonyoung Choi, senior director of development at NCSoft, said Amazon Games is one of the largest massive game-as-a-service publishing partners.
