We are in the week of rumorology par excellence. Especially because in less than seven days we will have the two most important events of June, the Summer Game Fest and the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, where big announcements are expected. And of course, given the proximity of the two events (June 9 and 12 respectively), rumors and leaks about what might be seen there are increasing hour by hour.
If a few days ago we told you that Jeff Grubb pointed out that the Microsoft event would focus above all on the demonstration of gameplay, it is now Jez Corden who leaves us another clue: a new Crash developed by Toby For Bob.
The new Crash would be multiplayer
That way, if we were right, throughout this week, and still according to Jez, we would have the reveal of this new game of our favorite marsupial. And it’s no wonder Toys for Bob did it again, because their work with the remaster of the original trilogy and its fourth installment was magnificent.
But the news with the Activision saga does not stop there, since Jez Corden also specifies that this title would be based on a multiplayer experience for four players. In this way, this new game would be a Brawler for four players. Maybe this is the Wompa League rumor we’ve been hearing about for a while?
This information was provided by Jez Corden himself, one of the most authoritative voices in the industry, in the final chapter of the Xbox Chatursday podcast (from 1:29:00 he mentions both Crash games)
Would you like to see a new Crash game? And what did you think of a new Brawler, based on the Activision license, now that Multiversus is also approaching?
