Additionally, Twitch is introducing Stories to its platform, like other popular social networks. Streamers will now be able to share ephemeral content that will only be available to their followers or subscribers. Popularized by platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, and even LinkedIn, this feature will give creators an additional way to engage with their community in a more casual and personal way.
Following the TikTok trend, Twitch has also improved its built-in clip editor. Content creators will now be able to export vertical videos directly to TikTok, allowing them to reach a wider audience beyond the Twitch platform.
Additionally, Twitch has introduced the Guest Star feature, designed to facilitate collaboration and creative endeavors involving multiple streamers. With this feature, up to five streamers can join forces and co-stream on their respective channelsproviding viewers with a unique and diverse visual experience.
In response to advertising concerns, Twitch has given creators more control over ad breaks during their streams. Streamers will now have access to a chat countdown timer, allowing them to delay announcements if necessary to avoid interruptions at key points in the stream.
