A new hero rises: Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available for consoles and PC.
KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force announce that their exciting tactical action game, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam.
Featuring the most intense battles and largest armies in the history of the DYNASTY WARRIORS franchise, the 1 vs. 1,000 Musou thriller takes players into the turbulent, war-torn Three Kingdoms.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins takes players through the most dramatic events of the Three Kingdoms, from the “Rebellion of the Yellow Turbans” to the “Battle of Chibi.” As a nameless hero, they must make decisions to restore peace and shape the fate of ancient China.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins delivers an overwhelming sense of realism on every battlefield, with the largest number of soldiers to date in series history. The enemy soldiers attack as a group and are extremely powerful. While you use your own skills in battle, you must also charge forward with your allies to clear the way.
As you storm the field and prepare for battle, you and your allies will face thousands of enemy soldiers from opposing armies, experiencing a sense of realism and an unprecedented size of the battlefield.
The protagonist goes into battle alongside the heroes of the Three Kingdoms to destroy swarms of enemies using swords, fists, and various other weapons. Together they travel across a massive world map, taking part in missions, putting down rebellions, rescuing government forces and fighting skirmishes.
They meet famous characters like Cao Cao and Liu Bei, who can become allies or enemies depending on their interaction.
The battles require strategic thinking and offer dynamic gameplay. In intense 1v1,000 battles, players must use quick and powerful attacks to break through their opponents' cover. With each successful hit, the protagonist's “bravery” increases, allowing him to unleash powerful and unique attacks called “arts”.
These “arts” are weapon dependent, so mastering the arsenal at one’s disposal is crucial to continually improving the hero’s “rank” and thus their abilities.
Additionally, the player can strategically command his allies, assemble massive forces, and radically change the course of entire battles through the use of Grand Tactics. At the same time, it is important to keep an eye on the strategies of the opponents, because they also use their “big tactics” to achieve victory.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available in Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the main game, a digital artbook and soundtrack, useful in-game items, and early access 72 hours before the game's release.
Anyone who purchases a physical or digital copy before January 30, 2025 will receive the Early Works Soundtrack Collection bonus, which includes songs from previous titles in the series.

The demonstration depicts the “Battle of Sishui Gate,” in which forces led by Dong Zhuo have seized power and are now facing coalition forces led by Yuan Shao. With this demo, players will get a taste of the thrill of the massive battles they will experience in Dynasty Warriors: Origins.
