Hi, Developers! Finally, after five years and over four million copies have been sold on PC, the wait is over. As of today, you can play Space Engineers on the Xbox One! Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered and provided us with valuable feedback during the beta closure.
Yours I don't know Space Engineers in the meantime, I'm really excited to tell you more about this amazing sandwich game of the world, defined by ingenuity and exploration.
Space Engineers it features a sensible, volumetric-based engine, which means that everything in the game can be assembled, separated, damaged and destroyed. Players can develop and build different types of vehicles, such as pedestrians, space miners, and cruise ships (just to name a few), as well as many types of buildings (exits, space stations and bases).
Space Engineers includes single and multiplayer modes, so you can enjoy the game with your friends, or explore the cosmos on your own. Players also have the choice of whether they want to play survival mode (establish a base, collect resources, and explore new worlds), or use a creative mode, which allows players to build whatever they can think of, and not have to worry about handling supplies or attacking enemies.
Your decision to play Space Engineers in Survival or Creation mode will affect how you experience the game. When playing survival mode, you'll want to find the right place to launch your base of operations, which will allow you to effectively collect resources, manage offers and explore the worldview.
However, if you're playing creative mode, you can let your vision work a little, and focus on building just about anything you can think of, be it a large space, space station, world-based car, and name it!
Whichever mode you decide to play, the most important thing to keep in mind while playing is to be ready for the challenge, never stop exploring, and have fun!
Our strategy is to keep updating, upgrading, and supporting the Xbox One version Space Engineers, just as they did for the PC version for the last 6+ years. This means that we will release all major updates and DLCs. Our first DLC release will be Frostbite
This hot fix will deal with specific issues and game uncertainties and increases in existing features including the Alien, Europa, Titan, and Triton planets, and an experimental mode that allows for maximum PCU limits and player counts.
We are still investigating the possibility of introducing additional features to the Xbox One version Space Engineers including dedicated servers, as well as the installation of some popular documents in the vanilla game.
Our main focus right now is to make sure the game is stable and reliable. In the long run, we will look at the progress that takes the game forward. Space Engineers is an open-world sandbox game defined by ingenuity and exploration.
It's a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and planets. Players build space ships, wheeled vehicles, space stations, evacuations of various sizes and uses (civilian and military), pilot and space travel to find planets and collect resources. It incorporates both survival and survival strategies, there is no limit to what can be developed, implemented and tested.
Space Engineers have a logical, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in this game can be assembled, separated, damaged and destroyed. The game can be played in one or more types of players.
Volumetric objects are structures that are assembled from block-like modules embedded within a grid. Volumetric objects behave like real physical objects with weight, inertia and velocity. Individual modules have real capacity and storage capacity.
Space Engineers are inspired literally and by the way things work. Think of today's NASA technology revealed over the next 60 years. Space Engineers strive to follow the laws of physics and not use technology that will not be viable in the near future.
Space Engineers specialize in building materials and testing, but can be played as a heavy shooter. We expect players to refrain from engaging in direct-to-human combat and instead use their design and engineering skills to build war machines and vehicles to survive on space and planets. Space engineers should not be soldiers; it has to be the machines you build.

Building blocks – over 200 blocks (gravity generators, gray drive, turrets, doors, cutting gears, integrator, cleaners, rotors, wheels, thrusters, pistons, turbine air and more)
Electricity – all blocks in the grid are wired to the electrical and computer network; electricity was generated by nuclear reactors or various sources of energy
Gravity – is generated by planets and gravity generators. Spherical gravity is available.
Symmetry / Mirroring – useful in creative mode when designing buildings that require syncing
Weapons – automatic rifles, small rifles, and small explosives, a small rifle, a small launcher

Performance depends on the complexity of your world and the quality of your Xbox. The simple world performs well even on the old Xbox, but a complex world with a rich connection to something can be extremely loaded even with the XBox One X.
