Visiting arcades as a kid of the 80s and 90s was so much fun. From 6 player beat ’em ups to racing games and every style in between. Of course, my good friend Pac-Man was always there to quench my thirst for maze running action. Arcades were, and still are, a place to discover something so incredibly fun and vibrant in design that you won’t want to miss a pixel of the action. That’s exactly what happened when I first discovered it pac mania 1987

My grandfather would sometimes take me to this arcade shaped like a castle and give me some quarters to look for Pac Man or Super Pac Man. But on a visit I discovered something else: pac mania. Featuring 3D isometric graphics, catchy music and the idea that Pac Man could now jump over the Ghosts – I was blown away. I spent most of my quarters on it pac mania that day and it’s a discovery I would return to again and again.

Pac-Man Museum+ is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and with Xbox Game Pass, and that sense of discovery is part of what makes this collection of Pac-Man games so special. Featuring 14 games spanning over 40 years of Pac-Man history, it’s the largest collection to date. Additionally, the in-game hub is a fully customizable virtual arcade that can be rearranged and decorated with items, statues, wallpapers, and more that you earn with every game.

As you guide Pac-Man through the arcade, you’re bound to discover Pac-Man games you may not have played, mixed in with ones you know you enjoy. The virtual arcade’s audio ambiance sounds like a real arcade, with a mix of game sounds and background music creating a tasty soup of Pac-Man audio goodness – again this can be customized with background music tracks unlocked during gameplay.

Pac-Man Museum+ offers a variety of playstyles across the 14 in-game titles. Of course, you’ll find great variations on Pac-Man’s tried-and-true ghost-champ action, such as: Pac & Buddy and Pac-Man arrangementbut there is also the action platforming of Pac in timePuzzle style like Pac Attackand intense competitive styles Pac-Man Championship Edition and Pac-Man Battle Royale.
