Unreal Engine 5, cross-platform play and the cloud

At the end of last year, Sega was already laying the first foundations for the future of its next projects. In recent years, the company has achieved a Cruising speednot launching too many titles, but offering those that produced rock-solid quality.

The company don’t stop with it

and it seems that they are very clear on the path they must follow in the future and on the pillars that must support it. On the one hand we know that they work with Microsoft for cloud services, as well as servers, on the other hand they want all this infrastructure to be based on “super games” of the so-called “blockbusters” which are recognized worldwide. To achieve what they offer, Sega is very clear about what they need to invest in, as explained by Executive Vice President Shuji Utsumi, Producer Masayoshi Kikuchi and General Manager Katsuya Hisai.
