Next week is all about the arrival of 12 new games on Xbox… And once again, thank you to the independent developers for bringing original titles to our consoles! The big studios are reluctant to take risks, and given the amount of money that goes into developing their games, some will be able to understand them. Independent studios don’t have the budget to technically impress, so the artistic direction, the concept and above all the ideas make the difference. Take Hike to Yomi for example. A samurai game in black and white and in 2D view. The idea inevitably came from the mind of a team of enthusiasts who decided to bring their love of Asian cinema to the game – a risk that paid off as Microsoft backed it by including it in Game Pass from day one integrated! And that’s just one of many, so enjoy…
The titles in vert send directly to the game’s official page in the Microsoft Store.
