World of Warships: Legends launches Italian battleships and prepares for Update 4.0.
Wargaming, publisher and developer of the popular free-to-play naval combat title, World of Warships: Legends, welcomes a new year with a range of Tier III – Tier VII Italian battleships.
Also, some familiar Azur Lane characters are returning at community request, a new five-week campaign will reward players with the battleship Brandenburg, and for the first time in World of Warships there will be the ability to open cross-platform divisions between Xbox and PlayStation players . Additionally, there are five seasons of ranked duels where two players can compete against each other.
The Italian fleet weighs anchor
To launch the update, there is a new line of five Italian battleships, starting with the Stage III Dante Alighiere
The third wave Azur Lane arrives
Azur Lane is back for a third collaboration with Legends, bringing an expanded roster of Commanders to the game. Six new officers based on Azur Lane characters join the ranks. These include Littorio from the Sardegna Empire, Aurora for the Northern Parliament, an officer for the Eagle Union, and three officers for the Sakura Empire. This reinforcement marks an important milestone for World of Warships: Legends as the number of commanders now exceeds 100.
Alongside the new officers come their respective ships: the USN cruiser Montpelier, the Japanese destroyer Yukikaze, and the Soviet cruiser Aurora, all sporting colorful permanent camouflages that add new facets to gameplay.
Cross-platform divisions are now available
Cross-platform divisions bring an important feature to World of Warships: Legends. This allows up to three players, regardless of whether on Xbox or PlayStation, to fight together as a division. There will also be a cross-platform friends list for this.
Campaign “Pride of Prussia” and more
“Pride of Prussia”, a five-week campaign is here! Players have the opportunity to get the Brandenburgan armored German battleship that rivals the Bismarck class.
Themed items are being brought into play to celebrate the Lunar New Year – at Tier V, Huanghe kicks off the Pan-Asian premium cruisers, and at Tier VII, Loyang returns for Global XP. Both ships will be available with optional celebratory appearances alongside the limited-time return of the Yellow and Blue Dragons.
changes in the office
The update concludes with changes in the office. Both the Dragon Fleet and the Seasonal Holiday Office are being removed to make room for two new projects. The first project is the legendary HMS Minotaur, which offers significant credit compensation for players who have already obtained the British cruiser. The second project is the Japanese Tier VII aircraft carrier Kaga, which marks the debut of this type of ship in the office.
