The video game industry is in a period of splendor as we have rarely experienced it. The unexpected appearance of the pandemic has had an impact on electronic home entertainment in such a way that the major promoters and companies in the sector have seen their position strongly strengthened. Unfortunately the smallest and most independent studios have not escaped the difficulties that have plagued our society and many of them struggle to stay afloat. This is the case of Interactive v1.
The little study Interactive v1 announced today via their official Twitter that they will cease their activity. The post greatly appreciates the fans and the talented staff at the studio. While they don’t go into details, it’s most likely due to the failure of their one game alone and it marked the studio’s debut, Disintegration.
His only release was the shooter Disintegration with the editor Private ward. The game was promising, but it didn’t add much to the genre and it was certainly repetitive. Its failure was such, that the multiplayer was closed less than a year after the launch of the game.. The intellectual property of this game remains unresolved as it continues to be marketed for its single player mode.
