Activision will probably not present the new Call of Duty: Next at this year’s E3 2021 – a new Warzone map is also planned.
Call of Duty: Next – this is the current working title of the latest offshoot of the popular shooter series. As VGC has now learned, Activision will probably not present the new Call of Duty at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
According to media reports, the next-gen shooter, which is made by the Sledgehammer Games development team, will not be shown until late summer. The game will then be presented in an in-game event of the free-to-play title Call of Duty: Warzone. In addition, it should appear in November this year. Call of Duty: Next will again include well-known game modes such as a campaign, multiplayer and the zombie mode.
War zone: According to VGC, the battle royale mode could also be advanced further. A completely new map is planned for Call of Duty: Warzone. The map will appear at the same time as the game is released and will be thematically set in World War II – it will also be the largest map in the series to date.
If you can’t wait until the announcement, you have the opportunity next weekend to push your Battle Pass in the last Double XP weekend of Season 3 of Warzone. On July 10th, the 4th season will also be presented as part of the Summer Games Fest.
