On May 7, we can finally enjoy the highly anticipated Resident Evil Village. Before its official launch date arrives, Xbox users will be able to test the game in a first demo, this demo will be very special as confirmed by Capcom through an official press release.
Capcom has also confirmed details of the limited-time demo that will arrive on all platforms on May 2. This year’s Resident Evil 25th anniversary celebrations continue with new ways to experience the franchise through various content partners.
Players will be able to explore the game’s village and castle areas for up to 60 minutes in a limited-time demo for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Steam, and Stadia. This cross-platform demo will be available for 24 hours starting May 2 at 2:00 a.m. CEST in Europe, with a pre-load option starting April 30 at 2:00 a.m. CEST.
Resident Evil Village Xbox demo and pre-order campaign
- The Resident Evil Village Early Bird campaign is now available, with options for Standard and Deluxe editions for all platforms, in addition to the physical Standard and Collector’s editions for console users.
- The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the “Trauma Pack” digital set, which consists of additional in-game content such as a Samurai Edge weapon, a screen filter inspired by images from Resident Evil 7 biohazard, a save point option on the game recorder, immediate access to a particularly difficult difficulty setting and much more.
- The Physical Collector’s Edition includes content from the Digital Deluxe Edition plus an eye-catching statue of franchise veteran Chris Redfield, SteelBook case, art book, fabric map of the village, and key artwork printed in format A4.
