Xbox Insiders will have the opportunity to take part in a War Robots: Frontiers playtest soon.
A cross-play playtest for War Robots: Frontiers will take place from January 28th to February 3rd, 2025 and is open to Xbox Insider Program members.
This test tests cross-platform play, voice chat, console performance and a redesigned user interface. Participants will have the opportunity to unlock the exclusive Fractured Sparrow sticker, which will also be available in the full game.
Parisa Zhong, UI/UX director for War Robots: Frontiers, highlights the comprehensive UI overhaul and improvements to the robot design process.
“We are grateful for how our team worked together to redesign the entire user interface to introduce a fresh, new style and meaningfully improve the robot building experience,” said Parisa Zhong, UI/UX Director for War Robots: Frontiers.
“Player feedback from the recent Xbox Insider playtest was invaluable, and we immediately began working on ways to improve clarity, usability and intuitiveness. The concept of Factory Robots, predefined builds designed to help new players get started, is also now much clearer.”
