The most popular trade show in the video game world seems mortally wounded.
It’s official: there will be no E3 in the next two years. This revelation appears in a document from a meeting held by the City of Los Angeles Tourism Commission on Wednesday, June 21. In the document, a page is devoted to “citywide convention sales”with reference to a specific figure relating to the “E3 cancellations for 2024 and 2025”.
So is this the official end of E3? Maybe or maybe not. It is not impossible that E3 will return in a new way, otherwise this format is no longer representative of the market and should give way to other events.
