For reference, I've been playing for over a year with the official Xbox Wireless Headphones, which we already reviewed back then, certifying that they were hands down the best value for money if you don't count the dedicate only to your console. . They are great, but with this same experience, the improvement in quality is noticeable from the first second: They're more comfortable, isolate better, fit better, but most importantly, they sound a whole lot better.. And yes, you can see this special material with the cooling gel that the brand advertises. My top pick was the game where I think the sound improvements are noticeable first: Apex Legends.
And it's hugely underrated in that regard, as the Respawn game perfectly answers the question of new hardware taking advantage of it. More quality, echo in the sound, positioning of the enemies... in this type of Battle Royale titles it is important to know where the fights are taking place or where the opponents are approaching you. Believe me, the quality gain is very noticeable. But where I freaked out a lot was with the new Dead Space Remake. Because in this case we will not have a specific button to turn the microphone on and off, but when it is lowered it will activate and with a simple upward movement it will silence us. Ideal for those who change all the time, but it is not the only possibility, since connecting it via USB to our Xbox or PC will allow them to be connected at the same time via Bluetooth to the 'Turtle Beach Audio Hub' app , available both in iOS as in Android, which will allow us to configure volumes in real time, mute the microphone and much more, even customize a function button, which by default, it will activate "SuperHuman Hearing", a patented function which will automatically increase the audio levels of the different channels to better hear the footsteps of our opponents.
I could tell you about some additional benefits like they have a perfect hole so my glasses don't constrict me, the headband adjustment is super comfortable or they aren't as heavy as they might seem, but can -be the comparison with the already excellent Xbox wireless headphones is enough, because directly they are better at all levels. How much to pay an extra $100 for them? Well, the truth is, if you have them, it's worth it.
