This Tuesday the 22nd, that is, in just a few hours we will visit the new world of the Throne of Savathûn in the new Witch Queen expansion of Destiny 2. things in the game and therefore we will also be forced to adapt to these new changes.
But before you do anything, you’ll need to program yourself. Destiny 2 will be almost 15 hours late to prepare for The Witch Queentherefore, in the morning from Monday 21 to Tuesday 22 around 3:30 a.m. in Europe (CEST), it will be switched off to come back online on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., it is in this interval that you can download the new update and get ready for when the time comes. Be warned, though: Beyond Light there were queues to enter Destiny, something that hasn’t been seen before, so it could happen again.
There will be things that you can’t do anything about, like the light rise, which will go straight from the current limit, 1330, to 1500 and from there to a new limit of 1550 and the only achievable with milestones of 1560. But if it’s good to know as a reminder, it’s rather so that if between today and tomorrow you continue to play, keep in mind that wasting time crossing levels will be useless, but this what you can do is… complete short-range contracts.
Record completed contracts
As in all expansions and seasons, completing contracts increases our experience, which allows us to unlock more levels of the season pass. This, in turn, will give us the permanent XP boosters that are essential in the race to reach maximum power very quickly. Save completed bounties (and don’t redeem them yet) from the Armorer, Ada, Crucible (Shaxx), Vanguard (Zavala), Gambit or this week in particular, the 4 from Iron Banner, which will ensure us 4 new milestones for the next season when we miss them These don’t expire until the banner arrives again, which should be in a month.
Of course, forget all those related to this season or the previous ones. These contracts will no longer be available and we do not assure you that they will be able to be used. Concretely, the one to say goodbye to for sure is The Spider in The Tangled Coast, so I advise you to buy Lumen and material to be well prepared to buy new contracts.
All this disappears: use it before!
We have already discussed this before, but the most important thing is that gunsmith materials, those redeemed from Banshee-44 in the tower, are gone forever to switch to the reputation system that all sellers have. Therefore, swap out the zillions of units you have and make room for your manager.
But we have a complete list of everything that disappears and maybe, as it won’t leave you time for everything, you want to do something with them:
- Cabal Gold
- Cabal Runes
- Challenge Medallions
- Corrupt data
- Corrupt key code
- decrypted data
- Eter
- etheric spiral
- Spectral Shards
- Spectrum Mods
- demonstration hammer
- imperial access code
- Intercepted distress signal
- Module components
- parallax trajectory
- Recognition data
- symbiote glove
- Wanted enemies and rewards
- Weapon Telemetry
And of course, one last important recommendation. There are two exotic weapons that will be lost until Xür, who supposedly owns them, gets the idea to bring them that weekThe ever-popular “Dead Man’s Story” scout rifle in the Crucible, and the equally popular “Moonhawk” hand cannon. For the first we will have to obtain it by completing the Omen exotic dungeon, which, being in The Tangled Coast, will disappear. It’s hard, but even at level 1300 you can try it alone. The other is the one belonging to one of the Seasons, the Hunt, where Uldren will guide us through all the stages. Might be harder to finish for the little time left.
And little more we can tell you. With this, you will be prepared and aware of what is to come in the next 48 hours in Destiny 2. The Witch Queen awaits…
