Whether you’re a new or returning player, you can choose from 35 unique heroes and team up in 5v5 battles across 22 beautiful maps around the world. It’s time to experience some of your favorite heroes in new and different ways! Passive roles have been added for tank, damage, and support heroes, allowing for more depth and gameplay strategies. With over 44,000 new lines of dialogue, you’ll always hear and learn something new about our heroes.
We keep it fresh with our updated game engine in which all heroes have been revamped with updated looks, VFX and revamped battle sound design.

surveillance 2 introduces a collection of new gaming experiences to immerse yourself in. Check out the following for more details:
- battle pass: Beginning with Season 1, players can progress through the new Battle Pass system simply by playing the game to earn all sorts of rewards. New cosmetic item types have been added, such as amulets, name cards, souvenirs, titles, and the mythical skin level. If you want to spice it up and earn even more exclusive items, you can purchase the Premium Battle Pass 1000 Overwatch Coins or through the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack. - competition mode: Competitive mode has also been updated with changes to skill tier divisions, placement matches, skill decay, competitive rewards, and more. We’ve also introduced a new ping system to make it even easier to communicate with your team – without having to speak! These changes are just the beginning, as we strive to ensure that competitive play is not only fun, but fair.
- New push game mode: Today you can finally play the newest core game mode “Push”. In Push, teams compete on a symmetrical map to take control of a robot in the center of the map. A team can get the robot towards enemy lines by staying in perimeter and making sure the enemy team doesn’t charge by getting too close. Barricades will be scattered across the map, which will slow down the robot as it continues to dash towards the enemy.
- Six new maps: Enjoy breathtaking sights as the battle moves to new locations in Queen Street, Circuit Royal, Midtown, Colosseo, Esperança and Paraíso. Play all your favorite main game modes in these new and exciting locations. Also, many existing maps have received new day and night variants, allowing you to see your favorite areas in a new light.
