The company will be restructuring Bethesda and ZeniMax studios, and four studios are affected.
Today, Xbox is in the news since it announced the closure of three of the studios acquired with the purchase of Bethesda and Zenimax Studios in 2018, already distant. The studios that will close their doors are Tango Gameworks (Hifi-Fi Rush, The Evil Within), Arkane Austin (Prey, Redfall) and Alpha Dog Studios, developers of the recent Mighty Doom.
Taking advantage of the news, Xbox announced that Redfall would stop receiving new content, thus canceling the DLC currently in development. Ways to reward users who have already purchased this content are being explored. Mobile game Mighty Doom will also stop being available in August and Hi-Fi Rush will not release on any other platforms, dispelling rumors of its release on Nintendo Switch. However, of Xbox confirm that Bethesda and ZeniMax continue to be a fundamental pillar for the brand, as well as all its IPs, and that they will continue to bet on them
