A new year brings new improvements to the program Microsoft Rewards and more precisely in Xbox Game Pass missions. Xbox has announced a mission overhaul that should allow players to earn more points this year.
Here's a look at the new Xbox Game Pass missions (via Xbox Wire):
- Daily Play: Earn 10 points per day by playing any game in the Game Pass catalog for at least 15 minutes.
- Weekly Streaks: Play at least five days a week to complete your streak. The more days you play, the more points you will earn. Now comes the challenge: continue your streak week after week to unlock bigger point multipliers. A 2 week streak will earn 2 times the base streak points, a 3 week streak will earn 3 times the base streak points, and anything over a 4 week streak will earn 4 times the base streak points. base.
- Monthly 4-Pack: Explore the Game Pass catalog by playing four different games (for at least 15 minutes each) each month.
- Monthly 8 Pack – Play eight different games (for at least 15 minutes each) every month. Don't worry, all 4 games in your 4-Pack also count towards the 8-Pack.
Microsoft announced that as part of these changes, Daily game quests on PC will be “rebalanced” to 10 points and the weekly bonus on console will be 150 pointsbut a new weekly PC bonus will allow players to earn an additional 150 points in the future, obviously only via PC.
Furthermore, the Xbox Game Pass Quests will be available to PC Game Pass members starting January 7 (previously exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate), and the new rewards will also launch in Japan.
The only thing that needs to be mentioned is that from January 7, Anyone who earns Microsoft Rewards points through gaming must be 18 years of age or older.. Microsoft claims that it is for “ensure our continued commitment to fostering positive, age-appropriate gaming experiences for our players”. Despite this, younger users still have some ways to earn Microsoft Rewards points, but the Xbox Rewards Hub will be disabled for accounts that can no longer use it.
