From this week, Xbox Insiders will notice a new series of adaptation options that are on the house for the recently played games and apps list. This update is part of our continuous efforts to make the house more personal, flexible and reaction quickly to your feedback.

What is new?

In the recently played games and apps list in the home, you will receive three new settings with which you get more control over what you see and how you interact with your content:

The Xbox settings screen shows the adaptation options for home recently games and apps list, including the selection of the tiled sizes, a tested check box for hiding system apps and a dropdown to select the number of visible tiles.
  • Show the system apps – Would you like a cleaner view that focuses on your games and your entertainment? You can now hide system apps from the recently played game and apps list at home to reduce disorder and concentrate your home on what is most important for you.
  • PIN favorites home – You can now specify up to three of your recently played games or apps directly on the recently played games and apps list. These pens remain near the list when you start other things and get quick access to your contact point.
  • Reduce the tile count (come soon!) – prefer a minimal look? With this setting, you can reduce the number of visible tiles in the recently played game and apps list and optimize your home and only flow the essentials. We still refine this attitude and it will come soon.

These new options will first be available Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha users, and we are excited to see what they think. Your feedback will help develop these options before being used wider.

Why is it important

We heard from many of them that at home should feel more like their space. Regardless of whether it is your favorite games, hiding what you do not use, or just feel less crowded, this update is a direct answer to this feedback.
