Playing on Xbox or any other console has its restrictions. Generally, there are certain community rules that you must follow so that everyone can play and enjoy in peace. Surely this has happened to you, you are playing and a bot sends you an email with a nonsensical advertisement or a dodgy link that no one would click on. Well, these types of accounts are the ones responsible for eliminating those from the app. Although there are also real users who have unethical behavior, who try to scam, insult or pretend to be adults to talk to children. There’s a bit of everything, and that’s why reports are so important.

We know Xbox is a special place for all of you. We believe everyone should have the chance to experience the joy of gambling, without fear or intimidation, and within the limits you set.
As proactive actions increase, user reports decrease
Although these are not the only interesting data that this report leaves us. Here are some of the relevant annotations that can be extracted from it. For example, this is a small breakdown of content that was evaluated proactively and not reactively:
- 199,000 accounts involving adult sexual content.
- 87,000 accounts banned for fraud.
- 54,000 accounts banned for harassment or bullying.
The report also confirms that 100% of all actions taken in the last six months are related to account manipulation, hacking and phishing. We also know that 6.93 million accounts received a temporary suspension, in the following graph you can see the breakdown.
Finally, Microsoft ensures that this report has been reviewed by certain Xbox Ambassadors, who are real users who help other players. Its veracity is therefore real.
