This is all the result of discussions about exclusivity.
Xbox uploaded the Marvel’s Blade trailer to its own YouTube channel a few days after the presentation of the original trailer at the Game Awards. There’s been a lot of talk about this Blade trailer, not only because of the surprise that Arkane Lyon is directing a game based on a superhero, but due to the lack of Xbox or Game Pass logos associated with the trailer.
There have been debates about whether the brand’s lack of partnership with Xbox means the game could be cross-platform. We know that new Bethesda games will almost always be exclusive, including other Disney-owned licenses such as the Indiana Jones video game, which has been confirmed to be exclusive to Xbox. In the new trailer posted on the Xbox website Xbox and Microsoft logos appearand Aaron Greenberg, vice president of games marketing at Xbox, let everyone know that the new trailer is now available.
The new trailer doesn’t explicitly state that it’s an Xbox exclusive or mention Game Pass.. We still don’t know why the original trailer didn’t include any association with Xbox, although there are plenty of theories about that. For the moment, We can only think that Arkane Lyon’s Marvel’s Blade will be exclusive to Xbox consoles and coming to Game Pass at launch until otherwise noted.
