WWE 2k22 has come to market with the largest roster of selectable characters in franchise history, including legends from past and present stars of the discipline, not just from WWE but also from other franchises such as AEW and New Japan. Wrestling among other things, a whole effort by the developers to erase the disastrous mark that WWE 2k20 had left.
The 168 WWE Superstars that make the WWE 2K22 roster might not seem like enough to the folks at 2K Games who keep adding wrestlers through DLC. On April 26, for example, the Banzai Pack arrives, which will include between 5 and 7 fighters and will focus on one of the great wrestling figures of the 90s: Yokozuna, unfortunately now deceased.

From what could be seen through the account game official on twitterthe Samoan icon would use the plaid kimono he wore at Wrestlemania 9 to defeat Bret Hart, a fight that earned him the title he would later quickly lose to Hulk Hogan.
In addition to Yokozuna, the pack will include Rikishi and Umaga, all part of the Anoa’i family which Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) also belongs to. The pack will be completed by Omos and Kacy Catanzaro.
