This new adaptation will try to be as faithful as possible to the work of Visceral Games which dates back to 2008, although it has a brand new graphics engine, improvements in sound effects, lighting and all the fantastic combo that has transformed this game into a classic. The game will arrive next week, more precisely on January 27, but preloading is now available on Xbox Series X/S as well as pre-purchase. Users on other platforms will have to wait a few more days to perform this same action.
Along with technical overhauls, the game will include a system called Peel that deals realistic damage to necromorphs and a few other features that aim to add random terrifying events as the game progresses. Players who know the classic game by heart will be surprised by new areas and side quests which are included in the remake.
