Gotham Knights is the new episode that will transport us to the beloved city of Gotham known for its great hero: Batman. This time we won’t have control of the Bat, but fate is in the hands of Robbin, Batgirl, Nightwing and Red Hood. And if, all will be playable separately, so you will have a large number of options facing the story.
A story that seems more complex than we all thought, since Geoff Ellenorgame director, confirmed to us that we won’t be able to find out everything in one game. What is it about? Well, it will just depend on the characters you’ll be playing as, apparently, each will have different points during the story.
Gotham Knights wants to impress fans
It’s definitely great news that this episode changes depending on the character you control. Apparently these changes they will arrive in cutscenesso that we can see different dialogues or actions that would not happen with the rest of the playable heroes.
You won’t be able to see everything in one game. There’s a lot of content that’s unique to each hero and their perception of everything that’s going on.
Not only did the Gotham Knights director give details about this, but the person in charge of creating all the cutscenes also gave us some clues about it. And it is that these differences will come because, logically, each character has a way of seeing things that is different from the others.
Structurally, we’re going to have a very similar scene, but each character has their own version of it. Because, you know, they move differently, they talk different, they have different stories with other characters… And that allows us to do a scene that would be their version of that. If you play as Batgirl you will get the Batgirl version, but if you play Robin you will get the Robin version of that same scene. Some scenes will be very similar, but they will have some subtle differences.
As you can see, it looks like you’ll have to play Gotham Knights a few times if you want to experience how each character sees things. Without a doubt, this is a feature that fans of all things Gotham, Batman, and company will really love. Remember that this delivery will leave the day 21st of October of 2022.
