Your smartphone isn’t just for taking photos of eclipses as far as astronomy goes, but it also lets you track astronomical events of all kinds in detail.
And it is that, throughout the year, we usually see a good number of events that occur in the sky, although it is true that there are times when light or pollution does not not allow us to fully appreciate it.
Thanks to these two applications which they use the augmented reality that your mobile is able to create,
Stellarium
This application puts on your screen a landscape which thanks to the compass and the gyroscope of your mobile, it will show you what you would see on a dark night looking at the sky in the direction your mobile phone’s camera is pointing.
With Stellarium, you will be able to see the planets as they appear in the sky, even if they are not visible to the naked eye.
You can select the items you want to appear on the screen, and it also has a mode that will allow you to detect planets based on their location, so you won’t have any problem seeing them from the app.
