7 features that aren’t available on all iPads

iPadOS 17 comes with many new features, but some are exclusive to the most powerful and modern iPads.

The new iPad operating system is coming very soon and users will be able to experience iPadOS 17 first-hand. However, some features of the new operating system are not compatible with all iPads that can install iPadOS 17. The same goes for iOS 17, some features will not be available on all iPhones.

iPadOS 17 hides many secrets inside, beyond the most important functions such as the new lock screen or interactive widgets. Pro, some features will not be available on certain iPad models.

React with your hands on FaceTime

This function adds a reaction with fun 3D augmented reality effects like hearts, confetti or fireworks during a FaceTime call. You can share any of these reactions with a simple wave of your hand.

FaceTime and Apple TV

This function allows use the iPad as a camera and initiate a call directly from the FaceTime app on Apple TVor transfer the call from the iPad to the TV.

Use an external camera for FaceTime calls

With iPadOS 17, you can use the built-in camera on your external display for FaceTime and other video calls. It is ideal when we connect the iPad to an external display for work.
