We’re getting closer to Apple Glasses. And every time we get closer to WWDC 2022, new Apple Glasses details and rumors come to light. Now we have seen how someone registered realityOS name, someone who apparently does not exist. Too many coincidences pointing in one direction: Cupertino.
realityOS: the operating system that has already been registered
Apple is always very careful to legally protect its products against possible copies and imitations. And it’s not uncommon for it to do so before announcing a new product or service. In fact, it has a method to register the products and at the same time keep them secret, even if there is not always recourse
It can’t be a coincidence that the “realityOS” trademark owned by a company that apparently doesn’t exist and is specifically for “wearable computing hardware” is registered worldwide on June 8, 2022 https://t.co /myoRbOvgJa+ https://t.co/AH97r95EMn pic.twitter.com/uvsiZCj2rR

As we see in this tweet, Parker Ortolani found details of realityOS being registered as a trademark of a company called “Realityo Systems LLC” (hence the name realityOS), which only has these brands. The request was made on August 12, 2021launching a new application on January 12, 2022 and with an international registration deadline of June 8, 2022. That is, a few days after WWDC 2022.
This isn’t the first time Apple has used a shell company to keep products that haven’t yet been revealed secret.
There are no examples of actual use of this mark. Although the request indicates an endless list of devices
It’s the same operating system that Mark Gurman unveiled in November 2017, when he predicted the launch of Apple Glasses in 2020. A date that we have largely exceededbut due to the number of last-minute leaks and rumors (the glasses have already been presented to Apple’s board of directors), it indicates that we are approaching Something.
