We are only a few weeks away from Samsung announcing its new high-end mobile phones, the Galaxy S25 series. It seems that this year the company has significantly advanced the presentation date and will officially present its flagship products in the first week of 2025 if the rumors are confirmed.
But although the Galaxy S sells very well in our country, especially with installment payments and bank financing, there are many who want a terminal from the brand but are looking for something mid-range. For them the manufacturer offers two terminals, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. The first of them currently benefits from a significant discount, seven months after its presentation.
This terminal was presented in Europe at a price of 479 dollars in its 8+128 GB variant, a price for which other brands offered models with double the memory. But here is this terminal, which hasn’t even been on sale for a year, It has lowered its price to 322 dollars on Amazon.
One of the few downsides we saw for the Galaxy A55 in our analysis was that there was a lot of competition in this market segment, and that was fighting with Xiaomi, realme or Google itself. It is true that the Galaxy A’s have evolved and offer features that did not exist until recently in the Galaxy S’s.
This terminal stands out for having, for example, one of the best update and support policies in the industry. Outside of Samsung, you have to go to the high end to see anything similar. Plus, its cameras are very competent, although it lacks the telephoto lens (you have to upgrade to the Galaxy S24 FE to get it) and better fast charging.
