Baldphone is a project that aims to help the elderly or physically disabled so they can use their mobile phone. It is a free application and absolutely, a request Highly recommended to help all those people who have difficulty using the smartphone.

The story of the Baldphone developer is moving, and as we can see in the video, the idea arose as an app developer set up a cell phone for a family friend, elder and Parkinson. I couldn't find any app that simplified the use I needed, so I created Baldphone.
Baldphone is a launcher, home screen compatible with any cell phone with Android 5.0 or higher. This screen includes shortcuts to all the basic things you would expect from a smartphone. Large icons, easy to read and compelling. In the startup mode itself we can control the amount of help for people with mobility problems, by pressing buttons when we keep them pressed on the screen for a while.
The application is very easy to use, and is equipped with a series of tools that maintain the interface, as part of the communication, video tutorial integrated into the application itself, notification reader, alarms, phone application.
While all of these areas are worth mentioning, there are plenty of tools these days that I've tested for an app that I've found to be very useful for older people.
We have direct access to photos, to be able to create fully-active reminders of the pills one should take, showing the name, color, what days of the week and what time of day to take. Or when it seems most convenient (morning, afternoon or night), we can set a time limit for each strip. When it's time to take the pill, an indicator will appear on the entire screen.
Also important is the red SOS button. Here, one can have direct access to two emergency contacts and 112 direct access. I think it would be better if the button was bigger and more accessible, but that's okay.
The app is on F-Droid, the repository of applications free software, and otherwise it becomes free totally free, without a single click or ad (although you can willingly support the developer at Patreon).
