Los Mobile with folding screens They have become some of the most interesting devices on the smartphones market, and that is a fact. Although there are still many more traditional mobiles than folding mobiles, many people in different markets have been curious about these devices, and manufacturers are already experiencing new formats.
Samsung currently markets two types of folding mobiles, the Galaxy Z Fold6 “Book” type and the Galaxy Z Flip6 “Shell” type. However, Samsung Display, the division of South Korean giant screens, presented its latest more innovative ideas during the MWC 2025, opening the doors to a large number of devices with folding screens in the near future.
Folding screens for video games, mobile with innovative designs and more
The Samsung display has shown different prototypes and concepts based on folding screens. The idea is not only to present mobiles with new folding formats, but also Open the doors to new devices and new possibilities. For example, the company has even shown round screens, among other concepts.

It is a very ingenious concept, which even solves the problem that the joysticks would give when a folding device is treated: the action buttons on each side are located around a hole that closes the console without the joystick involving an obstacle or an obstacle.
Samsung Display also presented two mobile formats with two hinges, that is to say, Triptych folding. One of them carries the two side parts in the center, while the others fold in the form of “Z”, in the same way as the Huawei Mate XT, the first triptych mobile which arrived on the market.

It is not a design that seems practical, but it certainly serves to show muscles in innovation and the development of screens.
Finally, the company also exposed a Folding screen control point. Basically, it is a huge screen which, when folding, can be protected and transported in a case. An idea that, without a doubt, seems very interesting and could be part of the development of a series of laptops resistant for the business and industrial market, for example.
