Amazfit has already launched all kinds of smartwatches and other related products such as headphones and scales, but until now it had never tried its luck with smart rings, or Smart Rings. That’s about to change, as the company announced at CES. your next smart ring, the Amazfit Helio Ring.
The ring will go on sale later, but in the meantime we can whet our appetite by finding out what it looks like and some details about it. What will we be able to do with it and some of its characteristics
Here is the Amazfit Helio ring
The Amazfit Helio Ring was created for elite athletes and It has a titanium alloy body which the company describes as super thin and light, comfortable to sleep on. The size 10 ring weighs approximately 3.8 grams and the size 12 ring weighs 4 grams.
As expected, inside there are a good number of sensors of which we do not yet have all the details, but the ring will provide us Monitoring EDA or skin conductancetheoretically capable of measuring the emotional and sympathetic responses of the wearer.
The Amazfit Helio Ring has a water resistance certification of 10 atmospheres and can be used with Amazfi smart watcht (in which case the Zepp application is responsible for merging the data from all your sensors) or individually. At least some of its features will require a Zepp Aura subscription.
We know little else about Amazfit’s first smart ring, other than that its function seems to focus on Helping athletes recover after training. We don’t yet know if it will have more mundane functions, like notifying us of notifications in some way.
Amazfit says the Helio Ring will soon be available in some countries and invites you to enter your email on its website to stay informed of the latest news. Its price is unknown.
