This Apple-1 has several interesting features!

The first Apple computers will always be coveted by collectors, who do not hesitate to pay small fortunes for them. However, one of the latest sales was “almost a bargain” for the buyer. Compared with other computers in the same series, the later Apple-1 was sold much cheaper, for $340,100.

All without counting, approximately a working Apple-1 and that it also bears the signature of Steve Wozniak, who signed it in 2021, when he coincided with the coin’s owner in Dubai. And there is one more detail: It is the first Apple computer to be used outside of North America.

According to the description of this device, the same fIt was purchased by Dubai-based computer collector Jimmy Grewal. of the legacy of a European oil magnate.

The transaction for the Apple -1 was completely closed a few days ago through an auction organized on eBay. According to the seller, the Apple-1 has been professionally restored to be Composed almost entirely of original parts.

The AAPL collection noted that although it contains “almost all components are correct for the period” that would fit on an original Apple-1 NTI board as manufactured in 1976, four Texas Instruments brand ICs dated 1977 were used.

Despite these qualities, it was impossible not to highlight the price difference from previous offers. Of the last five Apple -1s sold, the cheapest sold for $458,711, while the the same model, without Wozniak’s signature, sold for $736,862.

The Apple-1 is one of 200 “motherboards” that Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak designed in 1976. About 80 Apple-1 computers exist today and only about twenty are still operational.
