Who would have thought that a few years ago, but today Samsung is probably the best brand if we want to keep our Android phones up to date (apart from the Google Pixel, of course).
[Android 13 para Samsung es oficial: novedades y todos los móviles compatibles con One UI 5.0]
Samsung has imposed a surprising plan to update a good part of its current mobiles to Android 13, with the launch of the new version of its personalization layer, One UI 5.0. And best of all, it accomplishes it.
Android 13 for the Galaxy S21
First, Samsung updated its sharpest models launched this year, the foldable Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip, in addition to the Galaxy S22. But unlike others, Samsung has not forgotten users of previous models.
The update to Android 13 is already reaching users of the Galaxy S21 range in Europe; therefore, Spaniards can now update to One UI 5.0 and enjoy the innovations introduced both in the system and in the update layer, which include new modes, wallpapers with video and security and improved privacy.
The models added in the Android 13 update are as follows:
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S21+
- Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
Therefore, all models originally released for the S21 range can now be upgraded; the exception is the only one that was released later. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which arrived several months later as part of the “Fan Edition” lineup, and although it’s based on the S21 hardware, it won’t receive the update yet.
It is unclear when the S21 FE will be updated, as it did not appear in the list of devices that were going to receive One UI 5.0 before January 2023. So it is perfectly possible that users of this device will have to wait a few more minutes , months, but there is also the possibility that Samsung will surprise us.
