After rolling out the biggest Pixel Feature Drop yet last week, Google yesterday released Android 13 QPR2 Beta 1, a preview of what we’ll find in the next quarterly update next spring. Well we keep finding out No more news
Here are the quick settings in Android 13 QPR2 Beta 1
In the first image on the right we see what the quick settings bar currently looks like in Android 13 or Android 13 QPR1, where we see the time, battery percentage and the right of the status and connection icons in small digits, operator name. In Android 13 QPR2 Beta 1, these elements receive significant changes.
In the latest Android 13 beta we see as in the left image the time is displayed in a larger sizeshowing a nice animation as we fully display the quick settings bar, also showing the day of the week just below.
The battery indicator stops displaying the remaining battery percentage to display an estimate in days and hours of the battery
Finally, the operator name is now displayed just above the status and connection icons, which no longer cuts off text when giving very long operator names or when n has no coverage and can only make emergency calls.
These small changes give you a fresh air touch to android quick settingssince since the first version of Android 13 we have found practically the same design as in Android 12.
