Something could be wrong with the iPhone. Production problems from China and sales that would not have gone as planned may have caused emergency meetings at Apple, to the point that the company you could rethink your sales strategy for the next generation.
At least that’s what eyes1122 publishes, a source with a track record of success that was not the best but not the worst either. The lessor claims that in the offices of Apple Park they are “seriously concerned”, with which two options are offered to try to improve with the arrival of the iPhone 15 in about ten months.
To be more exclusive or to be more accessible, that is the question
The first option is to follow what other sources have already stated: further differentiate the non-Pro iPhone from the Pro and create the iPhone 15 Ultra. The iPhone 14 Pro has been the best-selling (according to external estimates), so emphasizing its advantages could boost sales.
But overall iPhone sales may have suffered from rising prices and inflation, so Apple might be considering a change of course: lower the price of iPhone Plus (and possibly the standard models too) to make them more attractive and thus stimulate your sales.
From MacRumors they are right when they say that it is still early to be able to bet on either of these two options, especially since it is a rumor. And that also means that Apple still has some leeway in deciding what to do. In January, we will have the company’s next financial results, and there we can have clues as to what may happen.
