On Tuesday, November 10, Apple will be hosting its “One More Thing” event and this time it will focus on new Macs.

According to a Nikkei Asian Review report, Apple expects high demand for new models that will include the company’s own processors.

In the next phase, 2.5 million new MacBooks models will be manufactured via Apple Silicon (Apple’s name for home-made ARM processors), equivalent to 20 percent of total MacBook sales in 2019.

Apple will continue to produce specific models with Intel processors during the two-year transition. Read: Should I Buy an Intel Mac?

We can expect more Mac models to be installed with Apple’s processors in the spring, including desktop Mac Macs like the new iMac.

Apple is expected to launch the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the new MacBook Air at the November 10 event.
