WWDC24 will have a big protagonist and her initials are everywhere!
Apple shared the invitation to the WDC24 Worldwide Developers Conference, following one of its best practices by include several clues about the news that will be presented in the highly anticipated Keynote. This year, the company is expected to introduce one of the biggest updates to iOS 18, thanks to tools based on artificial intelligence. And unwittingly, those with the bitten apple confirmed their expectations.
Unlike previous years, This year, Apple transformed its most recognized executives into ambassadors for its leaders. It is for this reason that one of Greg Joswiak’s most recent publications on X did not go unnoticed.
Joswiak said that The WWDC 2024 event will be “Absolutely Amazing” and will deliberately capitalize the first two letters of each word, AIreferring to the term Artificial intelligence.
Mark your calendars for #WWDC24, from June 10 to 14. It’s going to be absolutely amazing! pic.twitter.com/YIln5972ZD

Apple to showcase AI-powered news at WWDC24
The iOS 18 update is expected to bring advanced artificial intelligence features. Among the new features, the following are expected:
- A new, smarter version of Siri based on extended language model (oo LLM) technology, similar to platforms like ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
- AI features in Apple Music,
- AI news for the Message app.
- Spotlight search engine improvements.
- Health app news.
- AI works in Xcode so developers can build apps faster and easier.
Previously, rumors about the release of iOS 18 were fueled by statements from company executives. Apple CEO Tim Cook said in February that Apple plane “innovate” in generative AI in 2024. “We believe this will open transformational opportunities for our users”.
Artificial intelligence will not only benefit from changing the most used applications. At an environmental conference he attended a few days ago, Tim Cook showed how deeply AI is embedded at Apple for its own business benefitas a key element in the recycling of company devices and in global impact projects such as solving climate change.
It’s always fun to know about Easter eggs or Easter eggs that Apple hides in the WWDC invitations. But given that this year he “hid” his intentions in other formats, I am one of those who would like to think that Apple could share several more surprises, until the event opens in June this year.
