With the introduction of the new iPhone SE (2020), Apple has also introduced new charges for this device. It is somewhat surprising to see how Apple is moving the leather cases of the iPhone SE where these are not available for the iPhone 11, or XR and for the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
Silicone, skin and various colors
Apple introduced two types of covers: the silicone, at a price of 39 euros, and the leather, at a price of 49 euros. It should be noted that these new covers are fully functional compatible with the now-ordered iPhone 8. The colors are as follows:
- Silicone Case (39 euros): White, Sand Sand and Black.
- Leather Case (49 euros): Blue Night, Black and (PRODUCT) RED
Both leather and leather covers have it advantages and disadvantages and in the end it is a matter of opinion, but it is clear that the silicone case offers a bit more grip on the hand and face, while the leather case is somewhat slippery. The leather case, on the other hand, is more resistant to wear and accumulates much less dust than silicone.
In the end, choosing a model, in addition to the role played by available colors, will depend on our tastes, Apple giving us enough options to choose from.
