Apple launches second beta for developers watchOS 8, tvOS, iPadOS and iOS 15

After a few weeks with the first developer beta of all new Big Apple operating systems, Apple released the second beta. It is watchOS 8, tvOS, iPadOS, iOS 15 and macOS Monterey. The main novelties announced during WWDC will continue, but it is likely that Apple has introduced variations, modifications and new tools presented in the keynote but which were not yet ready to be released. Current betas are only available for developers enrolled in the Apple Developer Program. Starting in July, the Big Apple will make the public beta, with the aim of increasing the sample to optimize operating systems for its official launch in the fall.

Apple released the second developer beta of all its operating systems showcased at WWDC which took place this month electronically. In the case of iOS and iPadOS 15, the second beta comes with build code 19A5281h and is now available for update in device settings via “Software Updates”.

In case of watchOS 8, which will be compatible with all watches from Series 3 to Series 6, it is also available for all developers who want to try this second beta. The update has the build code 19R5286f. Its installation comes from the iPhone Clock app through the developer profiles that Apple provides them.

Finally, tvOS 15 also has its second developer beta available. However, the installation proceeds from the creation of a profile from Xcode. We’re also including tvOS as the operating system the HomePod uses, so the news will be consistent.
