Three weeks after the launch of the first, we already have the macOS Monterey second beta suitable for the entire developer community. If you are one of those who installed this beta, you can update the second as if it were a stable version.
A look at what we can do on our Macs in three months
macOS Monterey is the twelfth version of the system, successor to Big Sur, which will include all the improvements presented during the last WWDC21: new features in FaceTime, new modes of concentration, extensions in Mail … be careful, however, that some things are exclusively intended for Macs with M1 chip.
It is likely that this new beta hide any new surprise, not mentioned in the presentation event. As the developers go through the source code, we’ll see these details, which may be minor but no less interesting.
As always, we remind you that these betas are still unstable versions and that they can compromise the integrity of our data if you install them. Unless you are absolutely sure what you are doing, the best thing you can do is wait until macOS Monterey is available to everyone stably.
