Today is update day in the Apple universe. All of the company’s devices have just received a new version of their firmware, and among them the watchOS 7.5 for Apple Watch.
It’s only been a month since the last Apple Watch software update, but that doesn’t make it any less important. It includes great news for users. Let’s see what improvements it offers us.
Apple just released watchOS 7.5 some time ago, the fifth major update to the watchOS 7 operating system since its release in September 2020. watchOS 7.5 This comes a month after the release of watchOS 7.4, an update that added iPhone unlocking of the Apple Watch while wearing a mask and other important features.
The watchOS 7.5 update can be downloaded as usual for free via the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General> Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50% battery power, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be within range of the iPhone – as usual, come on.
watchOS 7.5 introduces support for Apple Card Family and content of subscription in the Podcasts app
This means that from now on, users with the Apple Card will be able to share it with their family members. (what a danger…). We can also subscribe to paid podcasts.
The update also includes two new Faces of pride which are designed to support the Pride 2021 groups that Apple is launching today. Two new faces commemorate LGTBIQ + collective pride month.
In addition, as usual, in the new version of watchOS there are a series of internal security fixes that are not noticeable to the user.
