A few days ago the first beta version of iOS 17.3 was released, the next major iOS update which will be released around January or February next year. Among the main new features, there is undoubtedly the new theft protection system which was integrated in the first beta version, a way to increase the security and control of our devices. However, in this beta version we were also able to see how Apple Music shared playlists are back in addition to a new function that allows react with emojis to songs included in shared playlists.

The ace Apple Music playlists or shared playlists were announced at WWDC23 as a new feature coming to iOS 17. For the moment there is no relevant new feature in this function compared to the operation of shared lists that we were able to experience in iOS 17.2, apart from the arrival of a Add to:

And now all users within the same shared Apple Music playlist can react to songs included in the list. In the playlist, each user can view the reactions to each of the songs in a list with the users and the emoji with which they reacted.

Another way to improve and make a difference in the function which wreaks havoc. Although it is very likely, given the latest news and movements from Apple, that we will be able to have these shared playlists in iOS 17.3 in early 2024.
