It was sung, but now it’s undeniable. A few weeks after announcing its annual developer conference, Apple detailed the WWDC21 program and officially confirmed that the curtain will be raised with a new speech on June 7.
It will be at 19:00 (Spanish Peninsula time), and there we will at least see the first official details of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, watchOS 8 and macOS 12. Hopefully we could see some new material as well.
Everything you can ask a WWDC, from home
In addition to the keynote, we will also have el tradicional “ State of the Union ” a few hours later, an event already closed to developers so that they can meet face to face with Apple engineers on the evolution of their systems and programs.
And as always, we will also have the Apple Design Award, which are delivered annually to developers with featured apps and games. We will know the winners of this edition on June 10.
All of this will be done remotely, like last year, due to the evils of the pandemic. The good news is that all developers will have free access to WWDC21 content, which will be able to watch lectures and book lectures with Apple Park developers from the comfort of their devices. All you have to do is download the official WWDC app and get comfortable.
